    We are passionate about discipleship. But what exactly is discipleship? It is the call of the gospel to guide others to follow Jesus Christ by engaging with them through life-on-life engagement. Discipleship forms the core of our mission at Southwest. That's why we've developed a pathway to help individuals get PLANTED in Christ, ROOTED in Christ, GROWING in Christ, and GOING for Christ. As you progress through each step of this pathway, we hope you'll grasp the significance of discipleship and feel inspired to share the gospel with those around you, with the expectation they will do the same until the message of Christ reaches the whole world.     At Southwest Church, to help people get PLANTED in Christ. The church is a community of people from diverse backgrounds, boldly placing their trust in Jesus to accomplish the extraordinary. We want people to SEE God’s Spirit, God’s Word, and God’s people in action. We want to see people put their trust and faith in Jesus and embrace discipleship.     We were designed for relationships—both with God and with each other. As a church family, we strive to live out the holiness and truth that God intended for us. We want to help you continually GROW in your relationship with Jesus and your relationship with Jesus’ people. Our relationships with one another help us and those around us become more like Christ as we encourage each other and mature in our journey with Jesus.
