What Is Baptism All About?
What Does Baptism Look Like at Wellspring Church?
Baptisms take place once per quarter during each of our four services over “Rooted Weekend”, during the first half of the service during worship. They are done in the main sanctuary and will be broadcast to the entire congregation.
If you sign up to be baptized, your pastor will reach out and tell you when to arrive at church and any other details you need to know. When you arrive, you’ll check in and receive instructions for the celebration. You are welcome to arrive in the clothes you wish to be baptized in, or you can use our restrooms to change when you get here. Your pastor will walk you through getting in and out of the baptism pool.
You’ll be guided throughout the entire process, and your pastor will be available to answer any questions you have. When your celebration is over, you are welcome to change clothes and re-join your friends and family for the remainder of the service.

Still have questions?
We’d love to walk you through it.
If you have questions about baptism or what to expect, we’re here to help. Our team would be happy to answer your questions, talk through the process, and help you take your next step with confidence.
We hope to celebrate your baptism with our church family because your story can encourage others to take their next step of faith. However, we also understand that not everyone is comfortable being in front of a large group or on camera.
If you’d prefer to be baptized in a more private setting or at a different time than one of our scheduled baptisms, let us know. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
